Jamia Ghosia Mosque is a purpose built Mosque in the Blackburn, Lancashire. The building opened in 1980 and in the recent years has done extensive refurbishment work. With over 450 members the Mosque is a focal point for everybody across Blackburn.
With separate facilities for men and women the Mosque is able to hold a total capacity of 1500 men and 700 women. The Mosque has 2 large prayer halls and one large function hall. We also have other rooms available for conferences and meetings.
Jamia Ghosia Mosque is open to visitors Muslim / non muslims throughout the year. We receive visits from schools, churches, universities, and other organisations.
